“Elegy to Woman”

She obeyed, even harsh,
Respecting them was foremost,
Played to loose,
Wanted her little to win,
Forgot the self,
When conferred him the core,
Deserted her identity,
To company his soul,
They remained foreigners,
Whom she believed her own,
She gave her part,
Smiled at pain,
Devoted them life,
Nurture them deep,
Gave them strength,
While she went weak,
Called it her happiness,
When lost her smile,
No one returned back,
But no complaints she had,
She loved the world,
Which was never her,
To come here again,
She wished at last..
